A shear line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) are affecting Luzon on Monday, while an Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring rains over Mindanao. Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Amihan, while Isabela and Aurora may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. The ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, and residents should be alert for possible flash floods or landslides as rains may be moderate to at times heavy. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, and coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
