THE TAGUM City local government officially opened the 5th Edition of the Huma Challenge Competition at the Tagum City Hall Atrium, JV Ayala Avenue, Barangay Apokon on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025. The event was graced by Tagum City Tourism-Arts and Culture Council president Alma L. Uy, Tagum City Councilor Arthur “Uloy” Ong, the Tagum Tourism Council members, and their valued partners from Nutri-Asia and Solane. Right after the ceremony, the event kicked off the competition proper with the Professional Category, showcasing top-tier culinary creativity and mastery. The winners were: Champion: Café Angelo, 1st Runner-Up: Klaire’s Bistro, and 2nd Runner-Up: Tea Barrel. The Tagum City Information also recognized culinary consultant and judge, Chef Timothy Decker Gokioco, for inspiring our participants with his expertise and passion.
