MILITARY troops deployed in Western and Central Mindanao were directed to prepare to respond to all eventualities that may arise during and after the May 12 national and local elections. The directive, issued during a meeting between Westmincom chief Lt. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete and Joint Task Force Central, advised units to prepare for scenarios including threats of violence, election sabotage, and civil disturbances.
