A graduate from Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City, Gerilin Ano-os Gascon, ranked 14th nationwide in the 2025 bar examinations with an 89.79% rating, as announced by the Supreme Court of the Philippines. Gascon, a BukSU College of Law Batch 2025 graduate and certified public accountant, works at the Bukidnon Lending Center of Landbank of the Philippines in Malaybalay City. Recognized for her diligence and excellence during her law studies, Gascon balanced being a full-time mother and government employee. BukSU College of Law credited its bar exam preparation initiatives, including mock examinations and mentoring sessions, for the success. Initial results indicate 31 BukSU examinees passed the bar, pending official confirmation. Nationally, 5,594 out of 11,424 examinees passed the three-day tests, yielding a 49% passing rate. The exams were held simultaneously in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to improve accessibility.
