7ID Commends Troops for Outstanding Service in Mindanao

PALAYAN CITY (PIA) — The 7th Infantry Division (7ID) of the Philippine Army has lauded the 701st Infantry “Kagitingan” Brigade, 56th Infantry “Tatag” Battalion, and 48th Infantry “Guardians” Battalion for their commitment and exemplary service during their deployment in Mindanao.

These units returned to the division’s area of responsibility after completing their assigned missions in support of peace, security, and stability operations.

An arrival ceremony at the Lt. Galido Grandstand, Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Palayan City, marked their homecoming, with 7ID Commander Major General Joseph Norwin Pasamonte as the keynote speaker.

In his remarks, Pasamonte expressed his appreciation for the troops’ dedication and noted their vital contribution to the Philippine Army’s ongoing efforts to maintain peace in conflict-affected areas.

The reintegration of the returning units further strengthens 7ID’s role as a key Army unit in Luzon.
