Woman arrested for selling lewd videos of kids

Authorities arrested a woman who was allegedly selling sexually explicit videos of her children in Tondo, Manila.

In Nico Waje’s Monday report on Saksi, the suspect was nabbed inside a computer shop in Bambang.

According to the Manila Police District (MPD), the victims were a seven-year-old, a 10-year-old boy and a 14-year-old teenager.

The suspect is accused of taking sexually explicit videos of her children and allegedly selling it to a foreigner.

“Ang sinasabi niya pinangakuan daw siya ng isang foreigner na mabibigyan ng pera na P10,000 pero lahat nung hiling niya regarding doon sa video na porn e gagawin niya,” said P/Captain Veronica Apresurado, MPD chief of women and children protection desk.

(She claimed a foreigner promised her P10,000 in exchange for the porn videos he requested.)

The suspect’s illicit acts were discovered after the suspect borrowed an acquaintance’s mobile phone and logged in her social media account.

“May nagpunta lang dito na concerned citizen na nag log in doon sa cellphone niya. Then, na discover niya, nung binalik sa kanya yung cellphone niya, na may kalaswaan na ginagawa itong nag log in sa cellphone niya. Allegedly, nung nagkasama sila sa isang bahay, binebidyuhan din sya ng suspect,” Apresurando said.

(A concerned citizen reported the incident and said when the suspect returned his phone, he discovered her illicit acts. Allegedly, when they were under the same roof, the concerned citizen said the suspect was also taking a video of him.)

The suspect admitted that she was selling a sexually explicit video but said it was just one time and with only her one son.

“Sa kagustuhan kong magkaroon ng bahay, e ‘di kinausap ko yung anak ko kasi nga may nakausap na rin ako, sabi nga ganun nga ang gawin namin,” the suspect said.

(In my desire to have a house, I talked to my son and said I talked to the foreigner, who told us to do those things.)

However, the suspect said they were scammed into making the video.

The two boys are now under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development while authorities are still looking for the 14-year-old daughter.
