Why do customers pay P1,000 for a bottle of soft drinks at this sari-sari store?

Allegedly for two years, this sari-sari store had been a front for drug peddling in Taguig.

According to John Consulta’s exclusive report on “24 Oras,” the authorities arrested three women and confiscated suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation.

The suspects were identified as Hairia Duta Musa, Amzari Usop Sali, and Saida Usop Sali, the owner of the store.

Seized during the operation was suspected shabu said to be worth P680,000.

Gen. Kirby John Kraft said.

The SPD is determining the suspects’ source of illegal drugs and whether there are other groups using the same method of selling.
