Water service interruptions will be experienced in parts of Caloocan City, Quezon City, and Rizal province due to scheduled maintenance activities from August 23 to 24 and 27 to 29.
In an advisory posted on its social media account, Maynilad Water Services said there will be electromagnetic flow meter replacement in Caloocan City from 10 p.m., August 23, to 6 a.m., August 24.
The affected areas are:
- Brgy 53 to 55, J. Teodoro corner 7th Avenue
- Brgy 161, Reparo corner Baesa
There will also be leak detection activities at 4th Avenue corner D. Aquino corner Nadurata, covering Barangays 36 to 38 and 43, from 11 p.m., August 23, to 4 a.m., August 24.
On the other hand, Manila Water said there will be emergency repair and maintenance activities affecting parts of Quezon City; Cainta, Antipolo, Taytay, and Binangonan, Rizal from August 27 to 29.

Affected residents are advised to store enough water to supply their needs during the service improvement activity.
Customers should also conduct flushing once the service is restored by letting the water flow out of the taps for a few minutes until it becomes clear.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
