A sports utility vehicle caused traffic build-up on the EDSA southbound lane just off the EDSA-Ortigas flyover in Mandaluyong City on Saturday after it slammed into concrete barriers.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said they received a report of the accident past 6 a.m., according to a report by Luisito Santos on Super Radyo dzBB.
The SUV blocked the EDSA Busway and the regular lane right beside it.
The driver, who was unhurt, said she did not notice the concrete barriers.
Buses were forced to use the regular lanes instead of the EDSA Busway for the meantime.
The MMDA meanwhile is conducting an investigation into the incident. —KG, GMA Integrated News
