Several roads in Manila will be closed on Saturday to accommodate the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 Parade of Stars.
The parade, which will begin at 2 p.m. at the Kartilya ng Katipunan, will feature ten floats carrying the stars of this year’s MMFF entries.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced the following roads will be closed on Saturday:
- Natividad Lopez Street
- P. Burgos (right turn)
- Jones Bridge
- Quintin Paredes
- Reina Regente Street
- Recto Avenue
- Abad Santos Avenue
- Tayuman Street
- Lacson Avenue – España Boulevard
- Nicanor Reyes Street (Morayta)
- C.M. Recto Avenue
- Legarda Street
- P. Casal Street
- Ayala Boulevard
- Taft Avenue
- T.M. Kalaw Street
- Roxas Boulevard – P. Burgos Avenue
- Magallanes Drive
- Manila Central Post Office
The MMDA assured that roads would be reopened immediately after the parade.
Among the MMFF entries this year is the GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs-produced film “Green Bones” top-billed by Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
