Parts of Paranaque City, Cavite, and Laguna will experience power service interruptions on May 16 and 17 due to scheduled maintenance activities.
In an advisory on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said there will be a relocation and reconstruction of facilities along Sun Valley Drive in Barangay Sun Valley, Parañaque City on May 16.
Affected areas between 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. are:
- Portion of Sun Valley Drive from Meralco – Sun Valley substation to West Service Road including Marymount County Subdivision and Acasys Prime Residences in Barangay Sun Valley
- Portion of East Service Road from Marian Road 2 to and including Philippine National Construction Corporation in Barangay San Martin De Porres
- Portion of Marian Road 2 from East Service Road to near Marian Road 1 in Marian Subdivision, Barangay San Martin De Porres
- Portion of Tindalo Street from East Service Road to Apitong Street including Dungon and Supa Streets in United Parañaque Subdivision, Phase 2, Barangay San Martin De Porres
- Portion of Apitong Street from Kamagong Street to Mahogany Street in United Parañaque Subdivision, Phase 2, Barangay San Martin De Porres
- Portion of Kamagong Street from East Service Road to Apitong Street in United Parañaque Subdivision, Phase 2, Barangay San Martin De Porres
- Portion of Lauan Street from Apitong Street to Mahogany Street in United Parañaque Subdivision, Phase 2, Barangay San Martin De Porres
There will also be line conversion works along Don Placido Campos Avenue in Dasmariñas City and Malagasang Road in Imus City, Cavite on May 16 and 17.
Affected areas between 11 p.m., Thursday, May 16, and 4 a.m., Friday, May 17 are:
- Portion of Don Placido Campos Avenue and Malagasang Road from Looban Road in Barangay Sabang, Dasmariñas City to and including Hayag Motors and Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch)
- Dexterville Classic Subdivision, Goldenville I & II Subdivisions, Greensborough Subdivision, and Sunnydale Homes in Barangay Sabang, Dasmariñas City
- Barangays Malagasang II B, C, D, E, F, and G in Imus City
Meralco said line reconstruction works will be conducted along Pan Philippine Highway (Maharlika Highway) in Barangays Real and Turbina, Calamba City, Laguna on May 17.
Affected areas between 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. are:
- Portion of Pan Philippine Highway (Maharlika Highway) from Mountain Drive in Barangay Real to South Luzon Expressway – Calamba Toll Plaza in Barangay Turbina.
