Parts of NCR, Cavite, Quezon, Rizal to experience power interruptions on June 17-19

Several parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, Quezon, and Rizal provinces will experience power interruptions from June 17 to 19 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In an advisory posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it will be conducting line reconstruction works along Congressional Road in Barangay Mabuhay, Carmona City, Cavite from June 17 to 18.

Affected between 11:30 p.m., Monday, June 17, and 4:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 18 are:

  • Portion of Governor’s Drive from Congressional Road to and including Southwoods Industrial Park; Burger King and Jollibee in Barangay Mabuhay.
  • Portion of San Lazaro Road from Governor’s Drive to and including Canyon Ranch Subdivision; and Manila Jockey Club in Barangays Mabuhay and Lantic.

It said there will also be replacement of hazardous poles inside Goodwill Homes I Subdivision in Barangay Bagbag, Quezon City between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on June 18.

Meralco said it will also be replacing a pole and upgrading facilities along Lucban – Sampaloc Road in Barangay Kilib, Lucban, Quezon Province on June 18.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 12 noon are:

  • Portion of Lucban – Sampaloc Road from Lucban – Luisiana Road in Bgy. Aliliw, Lucban to and including Landrito Farm in Barangay Bataan, Sampaloc; La Residencia Trinidad Phase 2 Subdivision, One Mangostana Place Subdivision and Two Mangostana Place Subdivision; Barangays Aliliw, Atunilao, Kabatete, Kilib and Piis in Lucban, Barangay Bataan in Sampaloc.

There will be replacement of pole and line reconductoring works along Alfonso – Maragondon Road in Bgy. Pulo ni Sara (Pantihan 4), Maragondon, Cavite on June 18.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

  • Portion of Alfonso – Maragondon Road from Pulo Pares Unli-Wings in Bgy. Pulo ni Sara (Pantihan 4) to and including Bgys. Balayungan and Pantihan 1 – 3.

Meralco will be relocating facilities affected by DPWH project along Plaza Rizal St. in Barangay Plaza Aldea, Tanay, Rizal Province from June 18 to 19.

Affected between 11 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, and 4 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, are:

  • Portion of F. Catapusan and M. H. Del Pilar Streets from McDonald’s to and including Catambay, A. Dancel, I. Yujuico, P. Gomez, Tentado, Rajah Sol and P. Peñaranda Streets; San Ildefonso College, Tanay Water District and Mercury Drug in Barangays Plaza Aldea, Wawa, Mag-ampon, and San Isidro.
  • Portion of Wawa Road and Lakeshore Drive from M. H. Del Pilar Street in Bgy. Wawa to and including M. L. Quezon, Cong. Ding Tanjuatco, Damaso Reyes, Cecilio Santos, Dolores, Resurrection, Noli Me Tangere, Pastor Masilang, E. Quirino, Lapu Lapu, and Lorenzo Ramos Streets in Barangays Wawa, Kaybuto, Tabing Ilog and Pinagkamaligan.

It will also be conducting line reconstruction works, replacement of poles and installation of facilities along Manila South Road (Muntinlupa – San Pedro National Highway) in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City from June 18 and 19.

Affected between 11 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, and 4 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, are:

  • Portion of Ilaya Street from San Guillermo Street to and including L&B Compound and Purok 7C in Barangay Alabang.
  • Portion of Bautista Street from Pleasant Drive to and including Baywalk Street; and Puregold – Bayanan Minimart in Barangay Bayanan.
  • Portion of San Guillermo Street from Ilaya Street to and including Valeda Street; Lakeview Homes, Sunrise Subdivision and Bagong Paraiso Compound in Barangays Bayanan and Putatan.
  • Portion of PNR Road from Bautista Street to NIA Road in Barangays Bayanan and Putatan.

There will be line repair works along North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) East Service Road near Paso De Blas Road in Barangay Paso De Blas, Valenzuela City from June 18 to 19.

Affected between 11 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, and 4 am., Wednesday, June 19 are:

  • Portion of Paso De Blas and Bagbaguin Roads from North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) East Service Road to near G. Molina Street including Dela Cruz Compound.
