Meralco has announced that several areas in Metro Manila will be experiencing power interruptions over the weekend.
On the Meralco website, the power company said that maintenance works will be causing the interruptions in said areas.
Parts of Quezon City (Diliman) will be having interruptions between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday due to line reconductoring works along Masaya and Maginhawa Streets in Barangays UP Village and San Vicente in Diliman, Quezon City.
Areas affected in the vicinity are:
- Portion of Masaya Street from Commonwealth Avenue to near Maharlika St. in Barangays UP Village and San Vicente
- Portion of Maginhawa Street from Masaya Street to Mahusay Street in Barangay UP Village
- Portion of Malinis Street from Matiwasay Street to Mahusay Street in Barangay UP Village
- Portion of Matiwasay Street from Maliwanag Street to Malinis Street including Esquinita Street in Barangays UP Village and San Vicente
- Portion of Maayusin Street from Malambing Street to and including San Vicente Elementary School; Maalindog, Mapayapa, San Vicente Eskinita 1 & 2, Lourdes and Maliwanag Streets in Barangays UP Village and San Vicente
- Portion of Mahusay Street from Malinis Street to Malambing Street in Barangay UP Village
- Portion of Marilag Street from Maginhawa Street to Malambing Street in Barangay UP Village
Interruptions between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday will also occur in the following areas of Caloocan and Malabon City due to line reconstruction works along Prelaya Street in Barangay Tugatog in Malabon:
- Portion of Sisa Street from Simoun Street in Barangay Acacia, Malabon City to Prosperidad Street in Bgy. Tugatog, Malabon City
- Portion of M. L. Quezon Street from Sisa Street to near Nirvana Street in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City
- Portion of Prosperidad Street from Sisa Street to Pureza Street in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City
- Portion of Prelaya Street from Prosperidad Street to near Marcelo H. Del Pilar Street in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City
- Portion of Caridad Street from Prelaya Street to Pacencia Street in Barangay Tugatog, Maalabon City
