Around P4.8 million worth of illegal drugs were seized from a lady guard in Taguig allegedly connected to a recently arrested drug suspect.
According to a “24 Oras” report by Marisol Abdurahman on Thursday, more than 700 grams of drugs were confiscated during the operation.
Police said that they have been monitoring the suspect for some time.
“Connected siya kay alyas Princess na nahuli din sa Laguna lately. Ginagawa ng Drug Enforcement Unit natin yung follow-up operation dito sa babagsakan nitong item na nakuha natin,” said Taguig Police Substation 6 Commander Major Jefferson Sinfuego.
(She is connected to alias Princess, who was recently arrested in Laguna. The Drug Enforcement Unit is now conducting a follow-up operation on where these seized items were supposed to be delivered.)
“Itong drugs na nakuha natin idi-distribute pa sa mga under nila, o sa mga downline nila,” he added.
(These drugs we’ve seized would have been distributed to their downline.)
The suspect’s previous transactions were for at least one kilogram of illegal drugs and that she had operations in both NCR and Region 4A, the police said.
Meanwhile, the Northern Police District – Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a man carrying 50 grams of shabu valued at P340,000 during a buy-bust operation on Thursday morning.
