P11.5 million in alleged shabu found during NAIA kitchen demolition

Construction workers found P11.4 million in alleged shabu as they were tearing down the kitchen of an old restaurant at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1.

According to Jonathan Andal’s Sunday 24 Oras Weekend report, the workers found three large packets in a grease trap.

They pulled the packets out and they were surprised to find that it contained alleged shabu.

The packet had been in the grease trap for so long that it had discolored.

The PDEA estimated that the three packets all together weighed over 1.5 kilos.

The Manila International Airport Authority had yet to comment on how the alleged drugs were brought into the airport.
