Almost 1 million visitors have already been recorded at the Manila North Cemetery as of 4 p.m. on Saturday.
According to an update from the Manila Police District (MPD), a total of 939,000 individuals have visited the cemetery on All Saints’ Day.
Most visitors were recorded to have arrived around 10:00 a.m., according to a dzBB report by Isa Avendaño-Umali.

MPD and the cemetery management reported that no untoward incidents or stealing incidents have occurred so far.
They also said that there have been 8 reported missing persons throughout the day, including a 43-year-old with down syndrome and a 9 year-old child, but all had been promptly resolved.

Meanwhile, 101,790 visitors were recorded at the Manila South Cemetery as of 4 p.m.
55,600 are staying inside the cemetery, and that the cemetery management was expecting more visitors to arrive before the cemetery closes by 9 p.m., according to a dzBB report by Christian Maño.
MPD also reported a total of 25,700 visitors at La Loma Cemetery, 5,350 visitors at the Manila Chinese Cemetery, and 164 visitors at Paco Cemetery.
The tally currently adds up to a total of 1,072,044 visitors throughout cemeteries in Metro Manila. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
