The Manila Police District announced Thursday road closures and rerouting scheme for the Feast of Sto. Niño de Tondo on Sunday.
In a Facebook post, MPD public information office said the following roads will be closed starting 12:01 a.m., January 20, Saturday.
- N. Zamora street from Moriones street to Chacon street
- Sta. Maria street from Moriones street to Morga street
- J. Nolasco street from Morga street to N. Zamora street
- Morga street from J. Nolasco street to Juan Luna street
- Ortega street from Asuncion street to Soliman street
- Lakandula street from Asuncion street to Ilaya street
- Ilaya street from Lakandula street to CM. Recto Avenue
- Chacon street from N. Zamora street to Juan Luna street
- Soliman street from Morga street to N. Zamora/Ortega street
Motorists going to Tondo Church from J. Nolasco street are advised to turn right to Morga street, straight to Tuazon street then to Wagas street, or left to Asuncion street going to C.M. Recto to destination.
All vehicles coming from Pritil using N. Zamora street should turn left to Moriones street going to Juan Luna street to destination.
Meanwhile, vehicles from C.M. Recto/ Asuncion street should turn left to Lakan Dula street going to destination.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
