The Manila Department of Public Services on Tuesday said that two areas in the city were noted to have an “unhealthy” air quality index (AQI).
According to a post on Facebook, the air quality in Barangay 128 and the Fabella Hospital area were noted to be “unhealthy for sensitive groups.”
“People with respiratory diseases such as asthma should limit outdoor activities within the vicinity of UFSG areas,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, the Rizal Park area was recorded to have a good AQI.
The data was retrieved from the three monitoring locations under the Asia Blue Skies Project at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
