Firefighters from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Makati City rescued a dog that was trapped in the waterway in Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City.
The BFP personnel on duty conducted an animal rescue operation along the creek of San Jose.
“Through the coordinated efforts of the responding team, the operation was successfully carried out, resulting in the safe rescue of the dog and ensuring no harm came to the animal during the process,” the agency said in a social media post.
“This incident highlights the dedication of BFP-Makati duty operations personnel in responding not only to fire emergencies but also to situations involving animal rescue and community assistance.”
