Operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT2) will run only from Recto to Cubao and back from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, the Light Rail Transit Authority announced.
This is to “secure loose power cables in the area after the Katipunan Tunnel towards Marikina River,” the LRTA said in a post on Facebook.
The LRTA said investigation is ongoing regarding the pilferage of the power cables.
“Should the work be completed early, we will immediately resume full line operations,” it added. —KG, GMA Integrated News
