Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano launched her re-election bid on Friday night as the 45-day campaign period for local candidates kicked off.
Cayetano’s proclamation rally was attended by about 10,000 Taguigeño, according to a news release from Team Lani Cayetano (TLC).
“Humaharap ‘ho ako sa inyo tangan ang solido, malalim, kongkretong mga nagawa ng partidong ito. Ang grupong ito nagtrabaho. Ang grupong ito nagmalasakit. Kaya’t sino pa ba ang makapagbibigay ng tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo kung ‘di ang Team TLC?” Cayetano said.
The proclamation rally was attended by the mayor’s husband, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano. Also in attendance was her sister-in-law, Senator Pia Cayetano. —Ted Cordero/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
