After an alleged fight with his wife, a man from Tondo, Manila went into a fit of anger and stabbed three neighbors on the street.
In the ensuing melee, his 11-year-old son was hurt when a bottle hit his head as he tried to pacify his father, according to a “24 Oras” report by Jomer Apresto.
CCTV footage of the barangay showed the suspect, alias “Jawo” wielding a knife and confronting three men.
The stabbing was not caught on video, but the men sustained wounds because of the suspect, the report said.
A witness also said Jawo saw him in the store and pointed the knife at him.
“He pointed the knife at my neck, I didn’t go back to the store, he might stab me,” the witness said.
Village watchmen eventually pacified him, but not the angry neighbors who ganged up on him.
The wounded neighbors and his son were treated in a hospital.
