A total of 25 homes were razed in a fire that reached the second alarm in Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City, Dano Tingcungco reported Thursday on “24 Oras.”

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire broke out along Makaya Street at around 9 a.m. and reached the second alarm as the blaze quickly spread among houses that are made of light materials. The narrow alleys also made it difficult for fire fighters to reach the area.

The blaze was put under control at around 10 a.m. and was declared fire out at 11 a.m.

No one was hurt or injured in the incident. The BFP is still investigating its cause.
