A dog was rescued after being spotted running along the rails in front of a moving train of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT1) over the weekend.
A video uploaded by TikTok user @sharmainfacto showed the dog running in front of an LRT1 train that had slowed its pace down.
“Kudos sa driver ng tren!” the uploader said in her post.
According to the system’s operator Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC), the dog was safely rescued and temporarily kept at the Central Station of the rail line on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
“Based on the latest update today (June 2), a netizen reached out to us and expressed interest to adopt. The LRMC team is already coordinating with said netizen for needed procedure po,” the LRMC said in a comment on Facto’s video. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA Integrated News
