A boy who was crossing the street in Manila died after being hit by a van, according to a report on “24 Oras” Wednesday.
CCTV footage showed the victim trying to cross the street when the van passed by and hit him. The vehicle did not stop but he was not able to go further after his path was blocked by residents in the area.
In an interview, the barangay chairperson said the driver told him that he did not notice the young victim who was trying to cross the street.
The victim’s father was at work while his mother rushed to the hospital upon hearing the tragic incident. — Sundy Locus/BAP, GMA Integrated News
