A runaway truck damaged 11 vehicles at the C-5 and McKinley Intersection on Tuesday night, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.
According to a MMDA traffic report, the accident occurred at 7:28 p.m. when a cargo truck loaded with corn lost its brakes and collided into 11 other vehicles.
“MMDA traffic enforcers as well as Road Emergency Group members have responded to the area to manage traffic and assist injured passengers,” the agency said.
The incident occupied two lanes of the highway and caused traffic delays in area.
