BALANGA City, Bataan: Employees of SM City Bataan have brought joy beyond the workplace through the supermall’s Human Resources department project “ChriSMiles”, bringing Christmas cheers to some children in this city Wednesday.
The employees shared their blessings to children under the Child Development Center in Barangay Munting Batangas. They interacted with the children during a simple program with games filled with laughter, especially from the children that touched the hearts of everyone present.
ChriSMiles is an annual project under the Employee Volunteerism program of SM Supermalls, which encourages employees to find the deeper meaning of Christmas by sharing their blessings to those children in need.
SM Supermalls nurture the culture of giving and kindness as the real spirit of Christmas. One of its projects that stand out is ChriSMiles, an employee-volunteerism program of SM through the initiative of its HR department.
SM City Bataan information officer Paula Gayeta said the project expresses the essence of Christmas by encouraging staff members to share their blessings with children.
