Pineda-Cayabyab resigns from SP, transfers voter registration to CSFP

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Pampanga 2 nd District board member Mylyn Pineda has resigned from the sangguniang panlalawigan.

In its regular session on April 15, the SP passed Resolution No. 8512 accepting Cayabyab’s resignation as member of the 11 th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pampanga “effective on the close of office hours on April 15, 2024.

The SP resolution did not mention any reason for or cause of the resignation.

Cayabyab is on her second consecutive term as provincial board member representing the second district. Prior to her SP stint, she served as mayor of Lubao for three terms.

A day after her resignation, April 16, Cayabyab, along with her father businessman-philanthropist Rodolfo “Bong” Pineda and her husband Archen, came personally to the Commission on Elections office here to transfer their voter registration from Lubao town to Barangay Dolores of this city.

Twenty-three of the 35 barangay chairman of San Fernando led by Sindalan chairman Benjamin Angeles accompanied the Pinedas. Punto News Team
