CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos personally handed over a Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinic to each of the seven provinces of Central Luzon at the Capitol grounds here on June 25.
On hand to receive the Toyota Coaster 2024 that will offer X-ray, CT scan, ECG, ultrasound, and blood screening services were Governors Reynante Tolentino of Aurora, Jose Enrique Garcia of Bataan, Daniel Fernando of Bulacan, Aurelio Umali of Nueva Ecija, Dennis “Delta” Pineda of Pampanga, Susan Yap of Tarlac, and Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. of Zambales.
The local government units will provide testing kits, reagents, and other medical supplies used in the services rendered by the mobile clinics, as well as handle their maintenance and repairs.
On behalf of the governors, Pineda expressed deep gratitude for the assistance given to the Central Luzon provinces in pursuit of the aspiration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to bring health services closer to the people.
He said the Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinic will be “of immense help” in delivering services to the remote barangays through the Alagang Nanay Preventive Health Care Program. Punto News Team/Photos: Pampanga-OG
