SEOUL – South Korea has no hostile intent against North Korea and will continue efforts to ease tensions and restore confidence, the South’s presidential office was quoted as saying on Tuesday by the Yonhap news agency.
North Korea said earlier on Tuesday details of the agreement between the leaders of South Korea and the US released last week proved the allies’ confrontational intentions and warned it would take appropriate countermeasures. —Reuters
