But the governor is fully committed to reducing it to a single digit, and we are here to fully support Governor Unabia, de Lara said.

ON BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS To support Unabia’s main thrusts, he created three specialized programs in every barangay.

The barangay needs livelihood programs and this is now one of the major projects of the governor, de Lara claimed. In the past, some projects in the barangays are not helping them.

Some barangays were given equipment that was not really helping the barangays. “In that case, sayang ang mga “mejoras,” the new Liga ng brgy.

This year, de Lara added, more than 100 skilled workers will be sent to South Korea to work and this can help selected people in the province in their economic status.

The provincial government is also negotiating with key officials in Taiwan for the same purpose that skilled workers in the province will be able to work in Taiwan like what they did with the South Korean Government.
