ROTARY International District 3870 Governor-Elect Gilda “Gigi” Go has appointed Justina Uy as one of the assistant governors for the district for the incoming RY 2023-2024 which will start in June. “As an assistant governor, her role is very crucial in the success of the District,” Go said. “This is because assistant governors serve as the connection between clubs and the district. Assistant governors build relationships with club leaders to make the district stronger.” Uy is a past president of Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban. She’s also currently the chairman of the Philippine Red Cross Misamis Oriental chapter. As an assistant governor, Uy will be part of the Rotary International District 3870 leadership team overseeing 44 clubs in Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao, Camiguin and Cagayan de Oro City.
