CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) arrested four drug suspects and seized PhP822,800.00 worth of suspected shabu in two separate buy-bust operations in Cagayan de Oro City on February 18, 2025.
The first operation took place at 7:21 PM in Zone 6, Balite Street, Bugo, where operatives from Team 1, RPDEU10, along with RID10, RIU10, and PDEA Misamis Oriental, conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of alias “Eboy”, a 36-year-old laborer and resident of the area. Information revealed that he was previously apprehended twice for the same offense.
Confiscated from his possession were 100 grams of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP680,000.00, a PhP1,000.00 bill used as buy-bust money, a large plastic container, and a keypad cellphone.
At 11:00 PM, another buy-bust operation was conducted by CDEU-COCPO in Gran Europa, Lumbia, resulting in the arrest of three drug personalities: alias “Boyde,” 52 years old; alias “Owen”, 34 years old; and alias “Ginn”, 24 years old.
During the operation, police seized 21 grams of suspected shabu valued at PhP142,800.00, along with various drug paraphernalia, and a PhP500 bill used as buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects are now under the custody of PS6 COCPO and CDEU COCPO for proper disposition.
PBGEN JAYSEN C DE GUZMAN, Regional Director, PRO10, lauded the successful operations and reaffirmed the commitment of the police force to intensify efforts against illegal drugs in Northern Mindanao.
“These arrests demonstrate our unyielding resolve to rid Northern Mindanao of illegal drugs. Our law enforcement teams remain steadfast in their mission to dismantle drug networks and protect our communities. We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities,” he said.
