CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA) –- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-10 and Public Employment Service Office (PESO) – Cagayan de Oro invite jobseekers, particularly fresh graduates, to participate in the 122nd Labor Day ‘Mega Job Fair’ scheduled for May 1 at the Event Hall of SM CDO Downtown Premier, as this could offer a pathway to their desired careers.
“For first-time jobseekers, some of these jobs won’t pay much, but it is still a good start. We all started somewhere in our career journey,” said DOLE-10 assistant regional director Russel A. Jallorina during the Talakayan sa PIA.
He disclosed that approximately 9,379 job opportunities await job seekers at the job fair. Of these, 5,775 are local positions offered by 73 companies across various sectors such as construction, customer service, hospitality, and transportation. Additionally, 3,604 overseas jobs are also available from 12 recruitment agencies.
