The father who allegedly beat his seven-year-old daughter to death was arrested in Tondo, Manila for gun ban violation.
According to a “Saksi” report by Emil Sumangil, Carlo Danny Lloren was nabbed after the police discovered a gun hidden in his waistband despite the existing ban.
Lloren is being hunted down by authorities after beating his daughter for not returning the spare money after an errand.
The child succumbed to acute respiratory failure and multiple physical injuries on August 26, while being treated at a hospital.
Lloren fled after the incident. Before fleeing, he wrote a letter in which he said he did not hurt his child on purpose.
While no cases have been filed yet for the killing of his daughter, he is facing charges for violating the gun ban.—Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
