THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Bogo City office in northern Cebu has scheduled the filing of certificates of candidacy (COCs) for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE) according to the barangays.
According to a statement from Comelec Bogo, at least five barangays would be permitted to submit their COCs each day of the registration period from August 28 to September 2, 2023.
According to the schedule, barangays Bungtod, Cogon, Pandan, Carbon and Lourdes will file COCs on August 28; Sambag, Sto. Rosario, Anonang Norte, Anonang Sura and Taytayan on August 29; Banban, Binabag, Cayang, Dakit and Don Pedro on August 30; Gairan, Guadalupe, Lapaz and La Purisima on August 31; Liberta, Malingin, Marangog, Odlot and Polambato on September 1; and Nailon, Santo Niño, San Vicente, Siocon and Sudlonon on September 2.
The Bogo City Government announced that the Comelec held a forum recently to address the concerns of the different candidates for BSKE, which will be held on October 30, 2023.(ANV, TPT)
