Four people were reported missing while four others were injured in a fire that hit a residential area in Tengco Street, Barangay 107, Pasay City on Friday afternoon
Super Radyo dzBB’s Luisito Santos reported that according to Salvador Vargas, barangay captain, they were looking for four members of a family who were not seen to leave their house when the fire happened
The Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP – NCR) said the fire was reported at 1:35 p.m. and reached second alarm at 1:52 p.m.
The fire was declared under control at 3:45 p.m.
Four residents sustained burns and other injuries. Firefighters and rescuers provided them assistance.
Around 30 families were affected by the fire, according to Vargas.
Residents and firefighters worked together to refill the water tanks of responding fire trucks as their water supply was running low.
Residents also evacuated their pets from the area as the fire spread.
Authorities have yet to provide information on the number of affected houses, casualties, the cost of damaged properties, as well as the cause of the fire. —Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA News
