IDIM DIY Bakery is bringing back Bakers Parade, its annual interschool DIY baking competition, for its third consecutive year at IDIM DIY Bakery, SM North EDSA, on Sept. 30, 2026.
Created to give graduating students a platform to showcase their talent beyond the classroom, Bakers Parade brings together aspiring bakers from colleges, universities and culinary schools for a live baking competition that celebrates creativity, innovation and craftsmanship. This year, 30 student participants will compete by baking and decorating their own 6-inch cakes based on the theme “Merry and Magical Christmas.” As part of the competition, each participant will also submit an original cake recipe for judging.

Since its launch in 2024, Bakers Parade has grown into a highly anticipated annual event, attracting more schools and aspiring bakers each year. More than a competition, it serves as a platform where students can apply their culinary knowledge in a real-world setting, gain valuable exposure and connect with fellow young talents who share the same passion for baking.
Adding to the excitement, this year’s grand champion won’t just take home the top prize, their winning cake will be part of IDIM DIY Bakery’s 2026 Christmas menu. The competition will recognize the top three participants for Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.
Participants will also compete for special awards that recognize outstanding creativity and performance: Most Delicious Cake, Most IG-Worthy Cake and Best Team Spirit.
