45 OFWs Seek Assistance from Crisis Center

THE OFW Families Welfare and Crisis Center in Davao City has facilitated inquiries from families of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) regarding the status and safety of their loved ones working in conflict areas abroad. At least 45 individuals sought help, with some represented by their families, to seek updates and support for their relatives overseas. The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) is providing support, including basic needs assistance, essential services, financial assistance, food assistance, and livelihood support, depending on the specific needs of the families and OFWs. For cases involving repatriation, services are available to help OFWs return home if necessary. Officials assured that Davao City continues to strengthen its support services to ensure that distressed OFWs and their families receive the assistance they need.
