In partnership with The Art House, French-Filipino artist Olivia d’Aboville brought her internationally acclaimed Giant Dandelions to Eastwood Mall Open Park — towering light sculptures composed of more than 10,000 recycled water bottles. Known for her textile work and environmental advocacy, d’Aboville reimagines discarded materials into luminous forms that speak to resilience, renewal, and the power of sustainable design. Her light show spectacle will continue to light up the Eastwood Mall Open Park every evening, running every hour from 6 PM to 10 PM until December 30.

“Everybody interacts with the flowers. They go around, they walk in between the stems, and they feel curious — they are attracted because it catches the light even though it’s made from plastic bottles,” shared d’Aboville. “It really sparks joy, and it brings people together.”

Puppet, set designer, and visual artist Mikayla Teodoro introduced ‘Between the Stars,’ a series of narrative vignettes inspired by Filipino tradition and the quiet moments that make the holidays meaningful. Through sculptural scenes — Lolo at Apo sa Dagat ng mga Bituin, Kundiman sa Buwan, Sila Mingming, Brownie, at ang mga Tala, and the culminating Tree of Dreams — Teodoro celebrates family ties, romance, companionship, and the aspirations we carry into the new year.

“For all the artwork and all of the installations that I’ve created, I really wanted to highlight what the true meaning of Christmas is. In between all of the stars and all of the lights, what really matters is the connections you make with one another,” shared Teodoro.

Renowned event stylist and creative director Teddy Manuel elevated the Eastwood Mall atrium with ‘Bigger Than Life,’ a suspended garden of oversized blooms crafted from layered fabrics in vivid holiday hues. Interwoven with glowing golden spheres and fluid green forms, the installation blends floral artistry, architectural scale, and digital inspiration to create a soaring, immersive canopy. Manuel’s piece evokes transformation and abundance, capturing the festive spirit through a symphony of color, texture, and light.

Together, the three installations reimagine Eastwood City as a living gallery — one where art, culture, and the Filipino imagination illuminate the season.

Adding to the magic of the evening, Kapuso star Julie Anne San Jose performed her unique renditions of timeless holiday classics.

Guests can also look forward to a lineup of activities that Eastwood City unveiled for this holiday season: Christmas in Color invites families and young artists to participate in guided art workshops. Music will fill the township through Soulful Strings, a series of intimate busking sessions featuring live instrumental performances. Pet lovers can join the Christmas Paw-rade, where furry companions don their best holiday costumes for a joyful community showcase. Visitors may also share their dreams for the coming year through Holiday Hopes, an interactive message wall designed to celebrate personal wishes and collective optimism. Evenings at the Open Park are set to come alive with Glow in Motion, a dynamic performance featuring dancers illuminated by vibrant LED elements, while Santa at the Park offers children and families the chance to meet Santa Claus. Storytelling sessions under Christmas Chronicles bring classic tales and local stories to life, and Sparkling Skies caps off select evenings with captivating fireworks displays that light up the Eastwood skyline.
