The highlight of the evening was the Tree Lighting Ceremony, where One Ayala executives twisted a golden key to illuminate the grand Christmas tree. The event featured an enchanting dance performance by the Hiraya Dance Company, transforming the stage into a living storybook with graceful toy soldiers and ballerinas.
Beyond the lights and decor, this year’s theme, “Tales of the Season: Inside The Nutcracker,” invites guests to relive the childlike joy of Christmas through storytelling and imagination. Shoppers and families can enjoy the festive installations, take photos beside the life-sized toy displays, and revel in the joyful atmosphere in Makati’s newest Christmas destination.
The launch also marked the beginning of a series of holiday activities and experiences at One Ayala, bringing together the best of retail, dining, and celebration in one vibrant space designed for celebration and connection.
Guests can look forward to the following events — “A Christmas Spectacle,” on Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, 13, and 20, where shoppers and guests can witness the 3D Christmas Lights Show, inspired by the Nutcracker; “Giftville,” from Nov. 14. to Jan. 6, 2026, where anyone can pick out a gift and shop for their loved ones; “Santa Meet and Greet, ” on Dec. 7, 14, and 21 at Level 2, where guests can meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus and capture magical holiday moments; and the “Merry Gift Parade,” on Dec, 24, where cheerful elves will roam around the mall to spread joy by giving gifts to shoppers.
