Robinsons Offices, the office development and leasing arm of Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp., is expanding its presence in Mindanao via a new nine-story building in Davao City. The project would be built on part of a property along JP Laurel Street that was acquired from Great Earth Marketing & Development Corp. It is set for completion in the first half of 2027. Robinsons Land said it would pursue green certification and integrate sustainable design features, reflecting a commitment to environmental responsibility. The project will add to Robinsons Land’s growing portfolio in Mindanao, which currently includes eight shopping malls, three GoHotels, one Grand Summit Hotel and two office buildings. Robinsons Land saw revenues grow 11 percent year on year to P22.2 billion in the first half, supported by high-value residential projects and strong sales of ready-for-occupancy units. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose 3 percent to P12.5 billion, while core and net profits grew 6 percent and 5 percent, respectively, to P6.9 billion. Robinsons Land shares rose 34 centavos, or 2.27 percent, to P15.30 apiece on Tuesday.
