A suspected gun-for-hire was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Laguna after his group shot it out with the authorities.
According to John Consulta’s report on “24 Oras,” two other suspects in the operation were killed.
Investigation showed that the alleged hired killer was behind two fatal shootings in Manila in January and sometime in 2024.
“Wala itong pinipili, umaatake araw man o gabi. Sinisigurado rin niyang patay ang target niya. ‘Yung isang biktima, may narekober kaming pitong basyo, lahat ng tama sa ulo,” said Police Capt. Dennis Turla, chief of the Manila Police District’s Homicide Section.
(He attacks whether it’s night or day. He also makes sure that his target is dead. In the case of one of the victims, we recovered seven empty shells, all the shots were to the head.)
