CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – The Lagonglong Municipal Police Station of Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office successfully apprehended the Top 5 Most Wanted Person at Regional Level on February 18, 2025, in Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental.
The accused was identified as alias “Buddy”, 25 years old, single, and a resident of the aforementioned place.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of two counts of Rape docketed under Criminal Case Nos. R-CDO-25-00238 and R-CDO-25-00239, with no bail bond recommended.
Investigation revealed that the accused sexually assaulted his two younger siblings, both minors, in 2016 and 2024.
The accused is now under the custody of Lagonglong MPS for proper disposition.
PBGEN JAYSEN C DE GUZMAN, Regional Director, PRO10, commended the operating unit for a job well done.
“PRO10 will continue to pursue individuals who have existing warrant of arrest to ensure that justice is served and that criminals are held accountable for their actions. We urge parents and guardians to remain vigilant in safeguarding their children from any form of abuse,” he said.
He further asked the public to cooperate with authorities by reporting individuals with outstanding warrants.
