In a statement issued Sunday evening, CIDG chief Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III identified the suspects as “Hu” and “Quan.”
CIDG’s Detective and Special Operations Unit conducted a buy-bust operation early Saturday morning that led to the arrest of the suspects.
Seized from the suspects were:
- two boxes of OTC 999 – Ganmaoling Keli
- twenty boxes of Glucophage – Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-release tablets
- two boxes of Amlodepine Besilate tablets

Charges for the violation of the FDA Act of 2009 will be filed against the suspects, the CIDG said.
