CAGAYAN DE ORO — The newly-assumed leadership of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP) Cagayan de Oro Chapter has set an eye on projects and programs aimed at boosting the chapter’s activity, and enhance positive responses to the country’s ever-changing media landscape.

the newly-installed Chairman has kicked-started initial discussions and consultations with chapter members on the KBP’s impact on aligning the role of the broadcast media in the digital age.
“There will be a series of panel discussions in addressing the key challenges in areas where we can leapfrog our programs and implement best practices and priorities of our chapter, Waniwan said.
“Our organizational mandate calls for participatory engagements and sessions on managing complaints, mediation, and conciliation aimed at serving the best interests of our member-broadcasters by providing support and networking opportunities, “
Dr Waniwan explained.
On addressing our corporate social responsibility, we are considering for the creation of a KBP cooperative that would provide financial assistance for our accredited announcer-members,
