UPM-SHS Leyte grad tops November 2024 midwives licensure exam

A graduate of the University of the Philippines Manila School of Health Services in Leyte achieved the highest rating in the midwives licensure examination held earlier this month. 

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 3,997 out of 5,398 passed the exam given by the Board of Midwifery in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Bernard Isaac Badar Alido of UPM-SHS Leyte was the top scorer with a 92.60% rating, while the top performing schools with 35 or more test takers are St. Alexius College and the Davao Medical School Foundation, both with 100% passing rates.
